Oh, they're from a book - Don Quixote. A friend of mine named Quixote after the hero from the book...so when I got a second cat, I picked another name from the book.

[She frowns a little at the work situation.]

The new owner of Maree Bleus has the power to charm women into doing whatever he wants, when speaking to him in person. He cheated the previous owner that way, and he threatened my friend Uryuu Ishida for exposing him for what he was.

[The suggestion of going out cheers Nelliel up, though.]

What happened at home?

Oh.. Oh! That's rather interesting! I should have named my cat after one of my favorite book characters! Oh well, perhaps next time.

[Hattie seems a bit perplexed by Nell's issue. She needs a moment to think about that, and in the meantime replies further.]

Oh, Ella and I got into a fight and she.. [She cringes again] I suppose I've been slacking a little in my training. It wasn't even a contest.

I was thinking of blowing some steam at a place called 'Twins' at the Underground Mall. It's a dance club! And they're having a themed night! Would you be interested in coming along with? We can have drinks and dance our troubles away for an evening~.

[That's unfortunate, but Nelliel is used to seeing people who count themselves as family fight. Perhaps it was something like that?]

I hope you aren't badly hurt...but I would be happy to come to Twins with you.

[Not that she'll be drinking anything other than water and juice. Alcohol has no effect on her, and it seems like a waste of money.]

Hmn? Oh! Oh, I'm fine, nothing is broken or anything! I just.. Well, anyway I'd like to learn a bit more from you sometime. And really? That'd be wonderful!

[Hattie's expression lights up at the agreement, she clapping her hands]

There's so much that we need to catch up on! The situation with Uryuu.. Are they going to fight? I mean, someone should teach him a lesson, right?

(OOC: Hattie is referring to this night at Club Twins. I'll open a part of that log for us!)

Then I will be happy to teach you more. What were you and Ella arguing about, anyhow?

[Perhaps it had something to do with the costume Hattie had Ella wear? Nelliel really doesn't know. But then, she also thinks that Ella and Hattie are much closer than they really are.]

I have my own plans for dealing with Mr. Robles...but they coudl backfire.

Oh.. She wouldn't confess to moving in on a boy I was interested in. I suppose my only choice now is to catch her in the act.

[Hattie mutters bitterly for a moment. Though looks interested in the hint of a plan from Nell.]

Oh? Might I be able to help?

[She means well, she really does. But she only excels at throwing money at problems. And finding sales.]

Perhaps she wasn't and it only appeared that she was?

[Nelliel is willing to give Ella the benefit of the doubt largely because of the things she's seen Ella do for Hattie.]

Well...I was thinking of trying to market myself as a model to make myself a more valuable and profitable employee than Mr. Robles, and then threaten to quit if he is not replaced with someone more suitable. I like my fellow models and I would rather not leave them working for a person like him.

The only compromise I'd accept is that she didn't mean to because she is completely inept. And she wouldn't even admit to that!

[She huffs, crossing her arms.]

That girl is hopeless.. [Her expression then lights up.] Nelliel.. That.. That is a -brilliant- idea! That is so deliciously devious, I love it! It will take a little time, but.. Well, in a way you and I have the same goal, just to different ends. Oh, that's so exciting!

We'll talk about it a little more then later, all right?

[Pause.]

Oh, by the way, the theme at the club is the 70s fashion.. Disco, I believe.

70s fashion...I am going to have to look that up.

[She's got a good enough grasp of current fashion, but she's only been in the human world for about a year and a half.]

Try to give Ella the benefit of the doubt in the meantime. She seems like she does care about your success and well-being. I doubt she would intentionally pursue a boy if she knew you were interested in him.

You should, it looks rather interesting! Though, really, all eras of clothing look interesting to me, but that's here nor there. If you need a hand, feel free to give me a call~.

[She frowns, clearly not approving of Nell's mediating.]

I'll take it into consideration next time, I suppose. I'm still mad at her.
